Vibe Check is an instrument that quantifies interpersonal relationships between two lovers, friends, or coworkers. The device pulls data from two connected phones (music, image, texts, & more) and passes it through its AI model to deliver compatibility results.
Interface and Interaction
The Vibe Check is a physical device that assesses and evaluates the compatibility of interpersonal relationships. By selecting a combination of the primary and secondary categories, users can test for twelve different vibe compatibilities, including music taste, zodiac, and hobbies. To initiate the analysis, the user simply presses the 'S' button, which activates the Vibe Check's AI model to process the collected data. The results of the compatibility assessment are then displayed on both an analog gauge and digital screen. Once the user has completed a check, they can easily return to the main screen by pressing the 'S' button and start the process again. For added security, the Vibe Check can be securely latched and easily carried using the grip handle.

The goal of Vibe Check was to offer a new way to analyze and measure relationships' existing vibes from a youthful, humorous, and captivating point of view. Its use would mainly be for informal settings, but it could also be used for more detailed compatibility tests (e.g., by couples therapists and psychologists). The device could identify where relationships lack compatibility and allow two individuals to find areas to improve or learn from each other. This device could also be applied to recruit more matching employees and create better teams. Since this project was fairly experimental, future research should focus on adding the logic of extracting data from two devices and creating a model for match-making, enhancing the results on the digital screen and the vibe categories available.
